Project Northstar currently operates the following five tutoring sites throughout the city and new volunteers are needed at all sites:

• Mondays, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
  Hine Junior High
  333 8th Ave. SE (corner of Pennsylvania Ave. and 7th St. SE)
  Metro: Blue/Orange Line, Eastern Market station
  Parking lot on-site.

• Mondays, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
  Josephine Butler Parks Center
  2437 15th Street, NW
  Metro: Columbia Heights station (Green line), walk 5 blocks;
  Metrobus: S1, S2, S4 to 16th & Euclid Sts.
  On-street parking available.

• Tuesdays, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
  Salvation Army Center
  3335 Sherman Ave. NW
  Metro: Green Line, Georgia Ave./Petworth station
  On-street parking and parking lot on-site.

• Wednesdays, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
  So Others Might Eat (S.O.M.E.)
  71 O St. NW (one block from North Capitol St. & New York Ave.)
  Metro: Red Line, Project Northstar van shuttle provides service for tutors to & from NY Ave station
  Metrobus: P2 or 80 from downtown to O St. & North Capitol
  Parking lot on-site.

• Thursdays, 6:15 – 8:00 p.m.
  Independence Place
  2800 N. Street, SE
  Metro/Metrobus: Eastern Market Metro (Blue Line) then transfer to 32 Bus towards Southern Ave Station
  On-street parking available
  Project Northstar staff will be working to help arrange tutor transportation to this site, which may include carpools, shuttle, etc.
