Project Northstar Happy Hour and FUNdraiser!
Thursday, October 23rd
at The Wonderland
Ballroom
(1101 Kenyon Street NW)
from 5:30 - 8:30 pm
Suggested donation of $10
A wonderful opportunity for:
- current volunteers to mingle with each other
in a social setting
- current volunteers to help Project Northstar
staff recruit new volunteers
- us to raise awareness about homelessness
in DC
- us to fundraise for the transportation fund
(the vans that bring our students to site every week)
- everyone to have FUN!
The Wonderland Ballroom has a great selection of beers on
tap and a menu containing copious vegetarian options!

New Tutors Needed for 2008!
We
are accepting applications for tutors at several of our tutoring
sites. Please visit the Volunteers
page to download an application.
We also need volunteers to join the Special Events Committee
and assist with bi-annual student assessments.
